Intro to IT field

Hi,

I am a science graduate. And want to make my career in the field of networking and software. If someone could help me with the courses or certification that i need to go through to get into the field of Software or Networking.

what does "science graduate" mean? Hopefully it means something more specific then just "science". I don't think I've had just a course just called science since 5th grade.

And software and networking are totally different paths, would probably want to be more specific on what you want to get into to.
