router brain lock .... serial number

I have some brain lock ....

is their a way to remotely obtain the chassis serial # of a cisco router ?

7200vxr in particular.

No serious now, I dont think it can be done through the IOS, I know that the 7200 MIB's Support serial numbers so if you running SNMP etc you may be able to obtain it that way. The full MIB spec for the 7200's is here

I certainly know we get the chasis for 6K and 4K series CATS through MIB's (I cant remeber which ones)
