Old ICND1 and new ICND2

Hi guys,

Could use some help if anyone can.
I have the old ICND1 which I took 2 years ago. I want to get my full CCNA Asap. I have been reading some through the ICND1 stuff but I need to get a move on. Would it be OK to skip straight to the ICND2 stuff or will o need some of the new ICND1 stuff to understand it?

I do plan on learning it all but I'm out of work so could do with that Ccna.

Also I assume my old cert is still valid for my ccna?

Thanks in advance.

You should be fine to just study the ICND2 stuff. I am 90% that you can use your existing, valid CCENT as the prerequisite for CCNA R+S. I can't find anything official on it, but Cisco are typically very accommodating when they do their exam updates.

Thanks for the advice, I have made sure I have covered OSPF and VLANS for it as I know it goes a little more indepth in the ICND2 with these subjects.

Good should be able get this done in a month or so.
