Study techniques
Hello to everybody.
Ladies and gentlemen. I am studying for the CCNP RS and I noticed that I need to change my study habits otherwise is going to be a never ending journey.
I tend to write summaries of the books and take screenshots of the configurations and command outputs. It might a good thing, but I notice that I am spending way too much time cramming this information. I think is a mental thing since I have read the book and highlighted most of the major points using a bi-colour pencil. I think that takes the same time to re-read and review the concepts often until they stick to the long-term memory, rather than writing down a short version of the book.
I think that if I approach the CCIE studies this way, will hit my retirement first
I would like to know more about your study routine to see if I can make a change to improve. My evil plan to rule the world assume that I will finish the CCNP Sec by May 2017. I got 4 exams on the way.
Kind Regards.
