Looking for advice about schooling

Hey guys and gals,
I'm at a fork in the road as to where I should enroll in school. I really like the path that WGU offers and the flexibility but I also looked at a local community college that has a pretty nice track as well. I'm not sure whether to pursue to the local CC and then transfer to the state university to finish my bachelors or should I attend WGU and go through that route? Anyone in a similar situation or experience able to shed some light and advice?

You'll most likely save a lot of money going the WGU route. You might get a scholarship to your local university too, impossible for us to know. Understand that WGU is pretty much ENTIRELY self learning, you'll get some help when you ask for it, but it's not the same as a teacher running a class. You have to want to learn that way and be strict with your own time management.
I'm not anti WGU by any means, I have a degree from there myself, just trying to be honest and explain how it's not cut out for everyone. -

This will allow you to get your basics (maths, english, etc.) I'm not sure how well I would have done in math with self study. Pick up a few more certs and transfer those into WGU and knock some classes out.WGU BS:IT Security (March 2015)
