I just had the interview and I was honest about my small amnt of Linux experience. I really had a small amount. But the manager gave me a sheet to study up on... The following things are what I need work on....
RAID
Linux command line + directory structure
NMAP
Telnet client for checking ports
Linux troubleshooting tools : top, sa, var, log
Perfmon
Linux and windows routing
Wireshark
DNS ( how it works, commands to test it, nslookup dig)
Linux Permissions and commands
I will start to brush up on this over the weekend and this is going to be my focal point for right now a long with the MCSA prep.
I'm thinking of purchasing a Linux + book for the knowledge. Are these topics covered in Linux +?

indigomx9 Member Posts: 32 ■■■□□□□□□□RAID, Perfmon, and Wireshark are NOT a part of the LPIC-1/Linux+ Objectives for 103 nor 104. Linux Academy's Security section went over Wireshark and some other advanced security features. The LPIC-1/Linux+ Objectives will cover all the other topics.
