Passed 780
Just passed Linux+ with a score of 780. One thing I noticed when studying for this test was the lack of materials available for it. A lot of vendors have not updated their books to the new objectives. No bookstore I could find had any books on it. That is checking at 3 Barnes and Nobles, one Borders and one CompUSA. I finally bought the books Linux+ Study guide and Linux+ 2005 In Depth.
After reading the study guide I decided to sign up for transcender online. I would recommend to anyone sign up for the transcender web version once they have a basic idea of the material. I was a little skeptical that their coverage for this material would be week, but it was actually really good. Go through every question they have and read the referenced sections out of the books and follow the links to read the material there. There is stuff on the test that is not covered in either one of those books very well. The comptia exam was very close to the transcender versions.

It's always difficult when an exam is updated and there are few new version study materails around.www.supercross.com
