For those currently enrolled at UMUC Masters in Cybersecurity program, they are switching the degree title to Cybersecurity Technology starting in the fall, along with most of the courses. However on the bright side you take 1 less course. They are also switching from 3 to 4 semesters per year.
I'm trying to find out whether or not credits will be accepted, and whether or not I want to continue. I'm still waiting to hear back from my advisor on what's really going on.
Anyone enrolled at UMUC, would love to hear your thoughts.

BlackBeret Member Posts: 683 ■■■■■□□□□□Thanks for posting this. I took this semester off for some work/personal requirements and wasn't told about the changes. Actually I was contacted about enrolling for the semester at all and remembered too late so now I'm taking an involuntary semester off. I called and spoke to advising, they stated that I will be completing the program that I enrolled for, not one of the new programs. So I'll continue taking CSEC and not the new technology courses.
