Which WGU program?

I am seriously considering WGU for a BS in one of their IT fields. Would likely start in about six months. Here's the question. I am trying to decide between the BS in IT or the BS in software. IT would be a nice efficient way to knock out the certs I have planned for the next year or so, but the software would allow me to develop additional skills that may come in handy. Not sure how to decide on this.

Which program did you guys choose, and how did you decide on your particular program?

    Do you anticipate wanting to be a programmer? What certs do you plan on knocking out? If your goal is to do sys admin/networking I wouldn't go the software route. If your goal is to become a programmer then you should choose the software route.
