Mobile Device Security and Forensics

There's a chance I could be up for a job that would deal with mobile forensics and it would ultimately become a specialization for me (I figure 90% of the job will deal with mobile security/forensics and the other 10 might involve other forms of security). With that, I've begun doing some research and it seems the field is growing, but there isn't a whole lot in the way of training/guidance on how to proceed down this path. Here's what I have so far:
Vendor specific training/certification (based on the tool utilized for forensics)
SANS FOR585 - Advanced Smartphone Forensics
eLearnSecurity - Mobile Application Security and Penetration Testing (more security then forensics)
Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) - it appears they added a mobile module to the course/certification
Any suggestions? I was thinking the following:
iOS/Android Operation System knowledge - various books on the subject
iOS/Android Security knowledge - various books on the subject
iOS/Android Forensics - really good book I've already picked up on this
Courses listed above
Programming languages? Python? C?
