I'm about to take a Network+ summer 1 class then afterwards, I am taking the exam. What you said really helps my confidence.

Any certification is better than having none at all when applying for an IT job. I've seen candidates get hired over other candidates who were evenly matched simply because one had a certification and the other didn't. It was kind of the tie breaker so to speak. So yeah, go for it, it certainly won't hurt to have that on your resume!
