Passed Network+ today
Hi Guys,
I was recently made redundant and decided that 1 year of networking experience didn't put me in a great position to get a new job.
So i decided to start back from the basics and do my Network+, the main thing i found difficult was the amount of acronyms to remember it was really hard to get my brain to hold in all the info.
I used the following:
Mike Meyers Udemy course which i made notes from
Chris Bryant CCNA course (Just watched the subnetting part as i found Meyers didn't explain it that great)
ProfessorMesser's course notes which i printed out.
I rewrote my original notes onto flashcards and read up on bits i wasn't too sure about (Google and Wikipedia)
Boson Practice Exams
I didn't actually read any books etc !
It took me about 3/4 weeks of revision and i passed first time with a score of 759, the exam was pretty tough mainly due to the questions being pretty vaguely worded and the fact that many of the answers could be considered correct.
Now its onto the ICND1 and 2 and i think i will do Security+ as well
