MCSE SharePoint 2016 will require 3 exams compared to 2013's 4 exams.

The 2013 covers more on prem while it looks like 2016 is going cloud with the addition of configuring cloud services. It appears that they hare putting the info from the previous 2 2013 exams into the 1 2016 exam as it covers designing the SP environment and workload optimization.
