Crossover Cable
bonam004
hey guys, Can anyone clarify the thing for the crossover cable.
Crossover cable is used when you want to connect similar devices. Wires 1-3 and 2-6 should be swapped yep?
A rollover cable is when wires 1 through 8 are swapped from one side of the cable and is used to configure a router through the console port.
The thing is that I saw a question showing a rollover cable being used to connect similar devices,when i thought a crossover is used.
Crossover=Crossed Cable eyy
Can anyone please clarify?
Thks
