Legacy Equipment - User Manuals and Drivers?
Node Man
Hi Everyone,
Can anyone recommend a source or a website for obtaining drivers/software/documentation for old network equipment?
Thanks!

I'd look on the manufacturer's website, sometimes they do have old drivers and such or you can contact them on where they could be..

You could try /r/networking. Someone there may have what you are looking for.

DriverGuide or something (been a while) was the place to go at one time. Haven't needed it in years.
How old of drivers are you looking for? Both Windows and Mac default with a boatload of device/card drivers. Interesting question because it's been a very long time since I had to seek out a driver repository.

I'm trying to investigate a vintage piece of networking gear :

Picturetel Corporation Quad BRI 4 Port ISDN RJ-45 PCI Networking Card C00-0284JP

Well, I'm rusty on looking for old drivers, but starting to dig...(no promises).
Polycom acquired Picturetel a LONG time ago (actually remember it happening)...consider contacting them (Polycom) if nothing on the web turns up. For some perspective, and depending on what you want to run your card on...early 2000s is when Picturetel was bought by Polycom...so consider which OSs were in play back in the day and you may just be looking at writing your own or hiring out a small project.
I'll see what shakes out.

Try the scanner (if you can run the device you are attempting to install the card in), possibly there is something close that will function.
Good luck!
post back how things are going, if I find something, I'll post it here.
