640-554 book vs 210-260 book

Hi,

I'm gathering materials to study for CCNA Sec, and it seems the book I purchased a year ago (in anticipation of studying for this exam) is already "obsolete" as the exam has been updated. The reviews for the new CiscoPress book are anything but glowing. I've seen the LabManual (v2) comes highly recommended. I was thinking of using my 640-554 book and checking with the exam topics to read up on any items missing in the book. Then I would go through the lab book (doable with PacketTracer 6.2?), and, I hope, put it all together.

Anyone with useful knowledge on this? Good idea? Bad strategy? Thanks for any help.

I would imagine most of the information is relatively the same. I would probably use it as a reference but not as my main source of study.
