Software iscsi adapter is not showing up!

Having some weird issue with my vsphere 6 lab. I'm using esxi 6 (update 2) and vcenter 6.0 nested inside VMware workstation.

The issue is, when I try to create software iscsi adapter, it shows task completed without any error. But after that the software iscsi adapter doesn't appear in the storage adapter list.

Can anyone suggest me how to overcome this issue??

Is the option available again to reattempt?

SSH on to your host and type esxcli storage core adapter list Does it appear in the list?

Is it available after a restart?

Tried that way. It says "Unable to load SCSI HBAs. No object id found for: vmhba33

What version of Workstation are you using?

Also, what adapter are you using for NIC?

I am using VMWARE workstation 11. All esxi and vcenter are running inside of that VMWARE workstation as VMs.
