I was just Honorably Discharged from the Army with 1.5 years of service. I want to actually pursue what I've always had an interest and passion for, which is Information Technology. So, I'll be working to get a Network+ cert and I'll be going to my local community college for an A.A.S Networking Technology degree which can transfer to a B.S Information Technology Degree.(http://www.waynecc.edu/networking/degree/ -> http://www.ecu.edu/cs-cet/techsystems/bsit.cfm)
I'm just wondering, would I be wasting my time taking this route?
Would taking this route set me up for a career in the I.T field?
