Cisco / microsoft networking

I am looking forward in doing security, but i am confused what should i do first...do i do cisco(CCENT) or Microsoft networking (Mcsa/Mcse)

What should i do first, that will help me to attain another cert. For security..

I am new to IT.. kindly sujjest me.

For security and networking I would go cisco. Mcsa and mcse are not really networking or security oriented. Sure there are some networking questions but the all focus around the windows operating system.

If you are completely new to certifications I would start with a compliance security+ then from there go towards ciscos security certification.
