Does anyone have information on how you can make a computer map a network drive before group policy starts.

I doubt you can ... what are you trying to achieve, there may be another way to do it?

You could possibly - by using a startup script *IF* you allow anonymous access to the share (kind of like everyone -full control) or possibly by adding computer accounts to access the share. The startup script in AD/GP does not require a user logon, but runs when the computer itself starts up. This is a highly insecure setup, but may work if the files are of a non-critical and publicly available sort.

I would ask the same question that Woodworm asked. If you can let us know what you are hoping to accomplish there may be a better solution.
All things are possible, only believe.
