if you pass one or two of exams and they come out with new set do you have to retake all exams?

No, there is usually a pretty long transition time when they announce new exams, and if there are significant changes they also make a transition plan for people in that situation. Cisco is pretty good at this unlike some others...2017 Goals - Something Cisco, Something Linux, Agile PM
