CCNA & CCENT
CCNA V2 or CCNA V3?
Snow.bros
Hi All,
I know Cisco has released a new CCNA exam for 2016 but I am seeing that some of the study material is not yet ready so far I have only seen the study guide. All my CompTIA certs are due to expire later this year, so my question here is, if I take 100-101 will it update my CompTIA certs or will I need to take 100-105 to update my CompTIA certs?
Hoping to hear from you.

According to CompTIA's list, it's just the CCNA R+S they care about and not any specific version. The certifications aren't versioned in any sense. A CCNA R+S is still a CCNA R+S whether you got it 4 years ago or next week.
But the CCENT isn't enough to renew your Net+, so you'd need to do the 200-101 or 200-105 as well, or just do the combo exam 200-120 or 200-125.
The Cisco Official Certification Guides for 100-105 was released last month and the OCG for 200-105 is due by fourth of July. The first of the companion guide books is available as eBook now and real book is coming end of this month.

Thanks man, I think I will stick with 100-101 and 200-101 there seems to be plenty of study material for them vs V3.
