How to install VMware

Good morning fellow techies,
I'm wanting to install Vmware on my machine but I have no idea on how to go about doing this. Any help for this? I want to be able to run some virtual machines but I'm unaware on what free Vmware software I need to install, and how to get the Iso images.

Google 'Free Virtual Machine Software'. One that springs to mind instantly is Oracle VM VirtualBox - https://www.virtualbox.org/
Microsoft allows people to download 180 day trails of their Operating Systems and also gives you the option to download them as a .iso file, if I remember correctly. Once again, google '[insert Operating System name] free trial'.

If you are set on VMware, keep in mind that they have two products you could use: Player and Workstation. Start by understanding the differences between those two and see which one is best for your use case.

I've installed workstation on my PC and tried adding a iso image to the workstation but it did not work. I will take the advice mentioned earlier and do some research on it. Thanks

There you go. And that should work.... My lunch is usually between 12noon to 1pm each day and my fav thing for lunch is a salad with garlic bread, or pizza.

What ISO? How did you attach it? What error did you get? Details get you answers.
