Hi, some people may not be aware (like me for a time), but Remote Desktop with network level authentication uses encryption. I'll admit i didn't know about this initially. But i'm trying to find out the details and get onto the properties of it all. I think i messed up a while back when i installed my server 2012 DC, i installed and then for an unknown reason uninstalled Remote Desktop from the roles options and it wont properly install now.
I have seen online that you can view and configure the remote desktop session host config properties (which i'm assuming i cant get to because i messed up), so i'm wondering is there any other way i can view the encryption properties etc... of the connection?
RDP still gets used but i'm not aware if i can still view the settings without that role installed basically?
