N10-006, new book required?

Hi,

I've had a significant break from my IT studies and in that time the Network+ has gone from N10-005 to 006. I've had a read through the new content, but I thought I'd gauge opinion on here too as to whether you'd: recommend reading the whole of a new textbook as I'm most of the way through the 005 one (Mike Meyers'), just reading the additional material from a new textbook and reading the remainder of the 005 or cover the remainder by other sources (I've just ordered a dvd with four hours 006 content)

Thanks

I recently updated my Security+ by using the previous version of the Darryl Gibson book, it's not that big of a deal. There will probably be some things on it that you don't recognize, but that's pretty much always the case even with the correct book. As long as you study everything on the new objectives you'll probably be fine, the tests don't change that much.
