Hi d4nz1g,
Can you give a clue?
I am only aware that a bridge domain is part of a bridge group.
d4nz1g
These meanings vary if you are dealing with IOS or IOS XR.
On XR, a bridge group has no specific function (I am aware of) other than organizing the configuration. The bridge domain is the component that performs L2 forwarding and bridging.
The documents I provided previously should explain better on a platform specific point of view, so you can find exactly what you are looking for.
