BIOS in Virtual Machine : Advice Needed
Im not sure how far Virtual PC 2004 emulates things.
If i run a BIOS update within a VM what will happen?
Will it update VM BIOS or Host BIOS?
If i run a BIOS update within a VM what will happen?

Neither. There is no updatable BIOS in a VPC image. And running a program in VPC does not allow the program to affect your local host system, so the BIOS update program will fail and nothing will be updated. The only possible way to modify the BIOS (or any of the hardware emulation) in VPC is by using a patch from Microsoft on VPC itself.
