I am about to start on 70-688 - how do you learn the MDOP tools ?

The fact that only software assurance customers can download MDOP how can this be learned for the exam ?

Even on the 70-697 Configuring Devices exam there was a really detailed question on App-V which really needed strong hands on knowledge to know it (it showed a log file and you had to answer the question based on that).

Any ideas from the people who have passed this exam ?
