Civilian looking at Government Jobs

Many moon ago I worked for the DOD in a non IT capacity. Since then I moved on to contracts and FTE positions, (corporate). Any suggestions on getting back into a G level role?

Education
Experience
Resume write ups?

Any info would be great appreciated. It's been a while and I am out of touch when it comes to applying to these types of positions.

It all depends on the job in regard to certifications. I am a contractor, so that is all I know.

I guess do a search..
