Judd Member Posts: 132A poorly written combination of two different jobs. This was not proofread before it was submitted.
It looks to me like they want a project planning coordinator in the first part, and a network admin for the second.
I wouldn't waste my time on this because it already shows poor planning and communication on their part, not a good way to recruit highly trained IT professionals. -

jim_stasz Member Posts: 123It must have been written by a bunch of darn rocket scientist… literally. It’s an opening at Lockheed Martin.

Trailerisf Member Posts: 455It was written by someone with no IT experience. They probably copied pieces from other job postings and combined them.
I've seen ads telling me they require MCSA AND MCSE. No exceptions. On the road to Cisco. Will I hunt it, or will it hunt me? -
endersftd Member Posts: 61 ■■□□□□□□□□The job I have now had a job description that didn't make too much sense. In my case, the company just ended a contract with a computer company to provide them tech support - the company could only show up about one day out of a month, so they wanted a full-time employee to take care of all of the tech stuff.
However, they didn't really know what kinds of things the tech would run into, since that person would be the only IT person within that company, so they tried to think of everything they could, intentionally being vague in areas. For me, this was a bonus, because I'm the only one there that knows anything, so I get to make my own rules lots of times.
I guess what I'm saying is that job descriptions that don't always make alot of sense happens because the company may not know exactly what they need - they want someone that can tell them what they need and then do it. I'm not saying this is always the case, but if it sounds like they don't know exactly what they're looking for, you might be in a position to tell them what they need and then offer it to them. Opportunity."We will rule over all this land, and we will call it...'This Land.'" -
ms_visio Member Posts: 58 ■■□□□□□□□□The person who wrote the job description simply copy pasted it from somewhere else. Coz it's preety sure he/she has no idea what the heck they are talking about!
I too wouldn't waste my time preparing application for such a job!
And I too sometimes come across strange job descriptions. Once some one wanted to hire a CCIE+ hell lot other skills for AU $60,000/year.
I would personally be surprized to find a CCIE working for that much price:study: -
sprkymrk Member Posts: 4,884 ■■■□□□□□□□Actualy that's typical for the FAA. It basically is describing a semi-technical managerial position for the FAA in supporting NAS solutions. A job with the FAA is probably a good deal for someone wanting gov't work and benefits. All things are possible, only believe.
