Passed SSCP
First, I am a little surprised how little information is out there on this exam.
I used the All in One book by Darril Gibson. That on top of my previous work experience was enough for the exam. I read the book over the course of 2-3 weeks and decided to just go for it since I doing well with the end of the chapter questions as well as the included cd practice exams. It's a good book. Maybe it was just the questions that were on my test, but there were some that I feel the practice exams did not mention at all, and there were several questions on the practice exams that I spent a lot of time studying that I didn't see at all on the real exam.
On top of the All in One, I also made a reverse engineered study guide based on the ISC2 exam objectives. This was my first ISC2 exam.

I did something similar, and that made a huge difference for me. -

I passed mine on on 8/9 and got my email from ISC on 9/9
So the time to get your official license numbers is about a month. Just thought I'd pass that along
