Anyone take GCCC lately

I understand that most of that exam is from CIS CSC v6 controls. Since I've spent a lot of time working with compliance stuff (ISO, CSF, etc) at work, this exam sounds like a breeze. It sounds like they have some tools associated with detecting some of the compliance controls. Anyone have any insight on this exam, and could you pass w/o a full blown index. Thanks!

You will need some comprehensive knowledge & experience with technologies they mention in the controls (e.g. firewalls, network devices, linux, tools). If you have a good understanding the material, then you can probably get by w/o an index.

Recommend the book, always the book with SANS since the exams are based off of the books...

I will be taking the exam in the next few weeks. I have read all the books and OnDemand stuff and what you mentioned seems accurate.
