Investing in Technology

I am always keeping my eyes out for stocks to add to my portfolio. Just wondering what people are seeing out there as far as equipment or software purchasing trends? Not that I would blindly go purchase a stock based on any advice but It gives me something to look at for analysis. Also any advice on companies you are not buying from as much would be of interest. Thanks for any advice.
