Can anyone confirm the cable lengths for 10GBaseSR and 10GBaseSW? This is for my flash cards im making and my study resources have conflicting information when it comes to the cable lengths of those 2.

With 10GBaseSR/10GBaseSW we need to use multimode fiber optic cable. Maximum bandwidth is 10 Gbps (full duplex only). Maximum segment length is 300 meters.

I am curious, how have you seen it in your studies? What is causing the confusion for you? Are you seeing one author use feet and another meters? Or was one perhaps discussing speed and another using cable length? Great question for the forum.
Good luck with your studies.

For this exam objective list, it likely does not include the technology from 2016 yet. Though, it could appear as a beta or in the next upgrade.Plantwiz

Plantwiz Mod Posts: 5,057 ModWorthy note, thank you.
I looked at your Cisco link and it was from April this year, mistakenly took that as they likely were the first with equipment for it and concluded it was near.
Certainly 2009 is long enough on the market to know.
Not something I work with. Thanks!Plantwiz
