If your future plans include the CISSP then you should learn all the material because you'll see it again. My study plan this year was Sec+ -> CISA -> CISSP and I found there were lots of overlap in the materials.
Just curious if there is any point in getting this cert?
Thoughts?
Thanks
When I worked for HP and Lenovo, they required us to have this to touch their servers in the data center that were under warranty. If you did not have it, you couldn't even talk to support.
It's not expensive and can beneficial that particular situation.
If you're working directly with hardware in a large enterprise or in a MSP, it could hold value. I've seen situations in the enterprise where an admin has Server+ and all the HP certs to go with it. HP has a series of certifications they offer & paired with Server+ it would make a good combo.
