ISSAP Attempt Incoming
Hey y'all, it's been a while.
After nearly two years without certification, I'm planning on going for the ISSAP. After obtaining my SSCP in early 2014 and passing the CISSP exam in the summer of 2014, I've finally passed the experience threshold for the full CISSP credential.
While my endorsement is in progress, I've decided to shoot for the ISSAP once I have my base CISSP validated. I plan on sitting the exam in January/February of 2017 and will be using the ISSAP Official Green Book, Security Engineering (Ross Anderson), and my original materials for the CISSP by Shon Harris.
I was able to sit and pass the CISSP exam in about 3 months of studying, so I'm hoping I'll be able to do the same for the concentration exam. Although I don't have experience as a full-blown Security Architect, I've been hopping back and forth between different roles that are all closely related to the ISSAP domains for the past 3-4 years.
I'd love to hear some recent experience with this exam. I wasn't overly challenged with the CISSP, so I'm assuming this will be similar.
