Interview advice

So about 2 months ago I had a conversation with the team leader for the networks team in my workplace - large multinational msp - just enquiring in regards to any vacancies in the team and letting him know that I was currently working towards ccna certification. He advised at the time to get the ccna done and get back to him as he'll have vacancies over the next few months for internal transfers.
When I passed ccent a few weeks ago I give him an update on my progress and said I would let him know when I've passed icnd2.
Today I had an email from him asking if I was still interested as he had a number of vacancies to fill and knew I was interested. He remembered I hadn't passed icnd2 yet but said that would be ok as long as a promise was made to pass in next few months.
So I've got an interview next week for a junior telecoms engineer role. Basics of it are monitoring network equipment via whatsup gold, investigating any alerts and resolving if possible as long as no config changes are needed. Possibility of doing more after time served.
A chap who just moved from service desk to networks team advised me that during his interview he was given a network topology and asked to fault find a wan connection.
So what I'm looking for is advice on the interview process, what I can expect and any advice dealing with fault finding scenarios. Also please bear in mind yet that I don't have icnd2 done yet so are there any specific technologies I should at least have a cursory knowledge of before attending next week.

Do not try to **** the interview. Just be honest like you were with them all along. You are a CCENT working on CCNA. That means you need to know CCENT very well plus whatever ground you have covered in ICND2.
Most of the time, for positions like these, they are interested in knowing how you think, not what you've memorized. So basically know your CCENT cause that's what they're likely to test you on.
