F5 - ASM training

Hi,

Is there any good, hopefully free or cheap training for F5 ASM?
Leading to a cert would be a plus, but not required.

They have the basic classes for free on their web site, but still pretty basic. Here is the link : https://f5.com/education/training/free-courses

Not that I have ever seen. I've used good low cost video training for LTM, but not ASM

Not that I'm aware of. I was fortunate enough to attend an F5 official class on ASM and it was really, really good. I would recommend it...ASM is a huge product.

Thanks! But wondering why all those vendors want to keep the training as expensive and secret when others are opening their doors and share information for Free. Qualys is doing a good job for Online Free training, Alienvault as well. I guess F5 and Hp are big enough to ask people to pay for training

+1 to this - ASM is awesome but to get the most out of it, I think your best bet would be the F5 class / course material.

Its a premium product with a premium price tag and vendors do this to ensure they don't become the victim of a worthless paper cert that destroys their premium status in the marketplace. There is a difference between vendor neutral training and certifications and the more coveted vendor based certifications.
