Provisionally Pass Vs Successfully Pass
Once you pass the CISSP, you receive a print out stating that you passed. Does that mention "Successfully passed" or "provisionally passed". One of my colleague was saying that people get provisionally pass initially. Pearson runs a forensic on the result and after couple of days, they make you successfully pass.... Is this a normal practice or only happens with certain/random folks?

My understanding is that there are two other scenarios that can also occur. 1 is that you get a print out that your exam was selected for a random quality check and you will get notified in a few weeks.
2 is that after a few days, when forensics are run, your exam has some "anomalies" in the answers you provided in the time you provided them which will result in you will be contacted.
I personally don't know anyone that has ever had either of these happen to them.
Unless you are somehow getting questions and answers from a brain-**** somewhere that will somehow trip something off in the software, I wouldn't worry about it. -
