Unified Networking Labs

Hi all,

Just wondering is anybody else using the UNL system to practice CCNA Security Labs on? I have to date used Packet Tracer and GNS3. The UNL system is REALLY good as it supports lots of the Security Appliances you need to know to pass the CCNA Security exam namely the ASA and its ASDM GUI.

I put up a post on my blog showing how to use it to configure the ASA and how to connect to it via the ASDM GUI using a virtual Windows machine.

Would love to hear from you if you are using it and what labs you have created in it?

Thanks,
Neon

I've actually ran into a lot of issues setting up GNS3, especially with adding ASAs, so I was looking for an alternative. I guess I'll give UNL a try!

    Thanks for the info!

I had the same sort of issues with GNS3, So far UNL is working great and looking forward to getting more labs built up during my studies.

Any questions give me a shout and I'll try and help out where I can.

hearing this UNET Lab lately for security, I'm currently using ASAv to emulate the ASA (planning for CCNA Sec) I guess I'll try to use and setup Unet lab soon.
