So, I decided to look for a new position while currently employed and have narrowed down the results to two offers for cloud admin/engineering roles.
One is with a smaller software company that has some large clients and have heavy focus in the cloud. It is for a Sr. Sys Admon, owning the infrastructure across the board. Offer is good at 100k + profit based bonus.
Second is with a larger international company, but is more siloed to cloud and some windows server stuff. Original offer was lower, but after speaking about other opportunities it was bumped to 105k.
Looking at roughly 20% bump from current position. Commute is negligible. Benefits are very similar.
I have worked for a large enterprise and for a smaller environment in the past. I am not sure which is thexactly best direction. I am hoping someone will have some insight to offer that may help me choose the best option.
Thanks.
