I/O, DMA, IRQ, and Memory Addresses
I am wondering what I need to memorize. I'm confident that I'll need to memorize I/O, DMA, and IRQ's, but what about memory addresses? With every system being different on the amount of memory they'll have installed, is it necessary to memorize memory addresses?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

Plantwiz Mod Posts: 5,057 ModHave you taken a look at the Objective found on CompTIAs website? This will prove a useful tool for you during your preparation.

***I'll add you can Capitalize the word 'I' to show a little respect for yourself too.
'i' before 'e' except after 'c'.... weird? -
SlowJoe Member Posts: 9 ■□□□□□□□□□I don't see in the objectives where it says to identify memory addresses, but in the book I'm using (Sybex's A+ Complete by David Groth), the typical memory addresses are listed out. I see in objectives where IRQ, I/O, and DMA settings are listed, but not memory addresses.
I just want to make sure that I don't need to memorize memory addresses.
Thanks!
