Chromebooks - Security Concern?
In regards to security concerns, just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on using Chromebooks in the enterprise for remote users (using VPN)?
I don't know much about them but from what I'm hearing from the team is they don't require AV (they don't get viruses). Viruses are one thing, but what about malware?
Just unsure about whether to allow these on the network. I did read that you can add licenses for the devices to be centrally managed, which eases my mind a little.
The goal would be to allow them to connect to VPN and to a Horizon View virtual desktop, and that's it.

Google isn't worried about Google spying on Google.
And, yeah, there is the potential of malware. Browsers are pretty powerful things these days. Consider a website with malicious javascript that brute forces your router to change DNS settings.2017 Goals - Something Cisco, Something Linux, Agile PM
