Hi, i work 2nd line for a very large company in the UK and deal with sometimes very complicated scenarios that probably wouldnt be classed as 2nd line. However, to further advance myself up the ladder i think i either need more "experience" or a couple more certifications.
Currently the academic qualifications i have are, Bsc Computing, CCNA R/S, Server 2012 410 and 411, I'd say around 90% of my job revolves around Active Directory and everything within Server 2012, but my real passion is networking and Cisco in particular. I'm thinking to obtain a possible networking role within the company later down the line, would i need another Cisco qualification, it couldn't hurt could it?
So my question is, should i go for the CCNA Security or CCNP R/S? Also, do 3rd line roles predominately look for MCSA qualifications over Cisco ones? Out of curiosity more than anything else to be honest.
Thanks...
