Doubt with mcdst

Hi i have a question. I decided to start studying for MCDST, i have ms press 271 second edition. But i think that in some topics im newbie. By the way, this book is my only source for study. Any advice? more material? im new in micro$oft certs. :S any help will be apreciated :)
