Hey All,

Are there any online hubs for those of us in IT to gather and chat beyond this forum? A VoiP application like Discord, Teamspeak, Skype get togethers, or whatever have you?

I'd be interested in making some friends and chatting up IT topics if anyone else is too?

    There isn't a Discord group for TechExams as a whole (atleast not that I know of). However, there are a few groups that TechExams members have created for specific certs. I know there's one for the OSCP going on right now. Not sure about the others.

    I would be very interested with us getting together on skype or any other form of face to face just to get to know some of the familiar everyday tech exam members.

    Is anyone in the Northwest IL area? Like around Rockford/Freeport/Monroe/Janesville. I have been wanting to hit the LUG over in Rockford but it is a long drive after work and an even longer drive home. I also went to a few ISSA meetings in Milwaukee(I was a presenter once).

    There's a Slack Group for people who are labbing. I don't think it's necessarily specific to any path or discipline in IT, but there is networking and security in it now. People helping people with personal labs. Does that interest you?

    I don't like Discord, but I would be open for Skype. Also, not familiar with Slack, checking it out now.

    Edit: Ok, Slack looks good too. I would be open for either (Skpe/Slack).

    Yeah, it seems good too. It needs a little more action, but too much and it'll wind up being so busy like the discord group that I'll spend every friday night going through it to get caught up. LoL
