debug arp

what is the debug/ ? etc command to monitor the arp process ?

i tried debug ip packet on packet tracer

but I guess packet is layer 3

I would debug ARP using "Simulation mode" in Packet Tracer. ARP is also kind of a layer 2.5 protocol. It's kind of the middle man between Layer 2 & 3.

1. Switch to Simulation mode (Step #1 in the picture)
2. Select "Show all/none" in the filters Section (Step #2 in the picture)
3. Edit filters tick ARP
4. Capture / Forward to step through the simulation one step at a time or Auto Capture / Play
