Hi guys,

I am just starting the routing chapters in the CCENT ICND1, is there any recommendations for what model routers image shall i use on GNS3?

would i really need the latest iOS version for the 100-105 exam?

Pretty new to all this so any help appreciated.

If you're an ITPro.tv member they have https://itpro.tv/course-library/gns3/gns3/ otherwise there are plenty of YouTube videos which describe the GNS3 setup. From what i've heard you don't need the latest and greatest IOS version for the CCENT/CCNA labs. You should be able to get away with IOS version 12.3-12.4 you don't need 15.x
