Passed GCIA!
Passed the exam last Thursday, December 29! I can say that the course provided by SANS is pretty enough to pass on it (bulk of my experience is on network though).
Practice on analyzing questions/scenarios quickly. I have to catch up on the last hour of the exam since my initial pace is so slow. Perhaps try to learn to eliminate two possible answers from the choices quickly. I got a spare of 2 minutes on the whole four hour exam and did not even attempt to take a break.
Next pit stop, GWAPT.
Cheers,
Happy new year!

You can't write anything down during the exam, but I wonder if there is any value having 4 or 5 sticky notes with A,B,C,D, which you can remove as you eliminate answers to help you track which answers you eliminated.Still searching for the corner in a round room.
