You have a ESXi 6 Host with six 32 core CPU's and 256GB ram
What is the maximum number of vCPU's you can assign to a single VM ?
What is the maximum number of vCPU's you can assign to a single VM ?

scott28tt Member Posts: 686 ■■■■■□□□□□So you have 192 cores total - but 128 is the maximum number of vCPUs per VM - so it's 128.
But, it would be good practice to keep the number of vCPUs within your NUMA node size - whatever that may be within your system architecture.VCP2 / VCP3 / VCP4 / VCP5 / VCAP4-DCA / VCI / vExpert 2010-2012

I remembered there was something in the configuration maximums PDF about 32 vCPU's.
